Our Founders-
Gavin has been working with foreign exchange students from many countries, for 34 years. Gavin speaks French, having served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Belgium, Brussels Mission in the early 80's. Working with so many exchange students and LDS families throughout the years has been wonderful! Gavin has served in all positions in the Young Mens' Programs in the church, priesthood leadership, etc. All of our sons, one daughter and all of our sons-in-law have served missions. 

Sharilyn has also been working with foreign exchange students for 34 years. Annually she supervises students and host families, for the school year, all across the US, many of them with LDS Host families. Besides working with the students, she and Gavin have hosted over 75 students themselves- short term and long term-  She has served in Primary, Young Womens' and Relief Society. She and Gavin are young grandparents, not only to their own 13, but to many "international grand-babies"!
